Leh, April 22, 2026: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and a strong commitment to environmental conservation. Marking the occasion, faculty members actively participated in a plantation drive within the institute’s campus.

The program aimed to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices. Several saplings were planted across the campus to enhance green cover and contribute to a healthier ecosystem.

In the afternoon session, students from Model School Skara Yokma visited the DIET campus as part of the Earth Day activities.
