First Caravan of Ladakhi Pilgrims Flagged Off for Hajj 2026 from Kharul
The first caravan of Ladakhi pilgrims for Hajj 2026 was ceremoniously flagged off from Kharul today amid prayers and heartfelt wishes from family members, officials, and local residents. The pilgrims are set to begin their sacred journey to the holy cities of Islam with great faith and devotion.
As per the official arrangements, 144 pilgrims will depart via Srinagar for Medina on April 30. The administration has made comprehensive arrangements to ensure a smooth, safe, and comfortable यात्रा for all pilgrims, including transportation, accommodation, medical assistance, and coordination support.
This year, a total of 325 pilgrims from Ladakh have been selected for Hajj 2026. Authorities have assured that all necessary facilities and logistical support are being provided to facilitate the pilgrimage process without inconvenience.
Officials extended their best wishes to all pilgrims for a safe journey and prayed for the acceptance of their Hajj and their safe return home. The flag-off ceremony witnessed an emotional atmosphere as families bid farewell to the pilgrims embarking on this spiritual journey.
