UPSC Declares Indian Forest Service Examination 2025 Final Result
New Delhi, May 8: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the final result of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2025. The results were announced after completion of the written examination held from November 16 to 23, 2025, followed by the Personality Test conducted between April 6 and April 15, 2026.
According to the official notification issued by PIB Delhi, a total of 148 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Forest Service under various categories.The category-wise breakup of recommended candidates is as follows:
General – 42EWS – 21OBC – 52SC – 22ST – 11The Commission also informed that two vacancies reserved for PwBD-1
candidates have been carried forward due to non-availability of suitable candidates. In addition, the result of one candidate has been withheld.
UPSC stated that the candidature of 71 recommended candidates remains provisional and is subject to verification of eligibility conditions and reservation claims by the concerned authorities.Candidates can check their results on the official UPSC website. Marks of candidates will be uploaded within 15 days from the declaration of the final result.
The Commission has also provided a Facilitation Counter near the Examination Hall Building on its campus for candidate assistance during working hours.Officials congratulated all successful candidates and wished them success in their future responsibilities in the Indian Forest Service.
