Lt Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena Welcomes Revocation of Sonam Wangchuk’s Detention
Leh, Ladakh: Hon’ble Lt Governor Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena has welcomed the decision to revoke the detention of social activist Shri Sonam Wangchuk, calling it a positive step taken by the Centre towards fostering an environment of peace, stability, and mutual trust in Ladakh.
The Lt Governor stated that the move reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining harmony and addressing the concerns of the people through constructive engagement. He emphasized that peace and stability are essential for the progress and development of Ladakh.Shri Saxena further maintained that there is no space for agitation and violence in Ladakh.
He reiterated that all issues related to the aspirations and concerns of the people will be addressed through dialogue and consultation with various stakeholders, community leaders, and citizens across the region.He urged all sections of society to work together in the spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding to ensure the continued peace and prosperity of Ladakh.
