GDC Kargil Commemorates Shaheed Divas on 150 Years of National Song “Vande Mataram” with Enthusiastic Participation
Ladakh , March 26, 2026: The College Culture and Seminar Committee, Government Degree College Kargil organized a mass singing of National Song “Vande Mataram” to commemorate the Shaheed Divas 2026”on 150 years of Vande Mataram.
The event witnessed active participation from faculty members and students, reflecting a shared sense of pride and patriotism.
The program was convened by Assistant Professor, Nasir Ud Din Khafi in the esteemed presence of the Principal, Disket Angmo. The gathering was marked by a spirit of unity and reverence for the cultural and historical importance of the national song.
The supreme sacrifices laid by our national heroes Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were paid rich tributes during the program.
2nd Semester students Kulsuma Banoo and Shahar Banoo led a soulful mass singing of Vande Mataram followed by a Vande Mataram Sloganeering with National Flags in hand.
Principal, Disket Angmo appreciated the enthusiastic participation of faculty and students in the program.
The program concluded on a note of collective pride, with participants reaffirming their commitment to the ideals embodied in the national song.
