Administrative Secretary School Education Hands Over Force Traveller to Support Students in Chushot
Leh, April 21, 2026: Administrative Secretary, School and Higher Education, Ms. Bhanu Prabha, today inaugurated and handed over a Force Traveller vehicle to support students of Government Primary School Basgorong, Chushot.
The vehicle was formally handed over to the Nambardars of Chushot, Mr. Manzoor Hussain (Chushot Shamma) and Mr. Haider Ali (Chushot Yokma), in the presence of SMC member Mr. Habibullah, at DIET Leh.
The vehicle has been provided by the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Leh, with the aim of facilitating safe and convenient transportation for students, particularly addressing challenges faced due to distance and accessibility.
During the visit, Ms. Bhanu Prabha interacted with the students and teachers, and reviewed the overall functioning of the school, including enrolment, attendance, and academic status. She appreciated the efforts of the school staff in ensuring quality education and encouraged students to remain focused on their studies and strive for excellence.
The students and local representatives expressed their gratitude to the Administration and the Nambardars for extending this much-needed support. They highlighted that the availability of the vehicle would significantly ease commuting difficulties and contribute to regular attendance and improved learning outcomes.
Reaffirming the Administration’s commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure, the Secretary assured continued support for the holistic development of students and institutions across the region. She also conveyed her best wishes to the students for their future endeavors.
The Secretary was accompanied by Chief Education Officer Leh, Ms. Deldan Angmo, along with teaching staff of the school and other concerned officials.
