Around 20 Vehicles Rescued at Zojila Top Amid Heavy Snowfall
Kargil, Ladakh:Around 20 vehicles stranded at Zojila Top due to heavy snowfall and strong gusty winds were successfully rescued by a dedicated team of Kargil Police on Monday.
The rescue operation was led by SHO Drass, Inspector Abdullah, along with Incharge Police Post Minamarg, SI Fayaz, who promptly responded to the situation and ensured the safety of the stranded passengers.Despite challenging weather conditions, the police team managed to safely escort all the vehicles and passengers towards Kargil, preventing any untoward incident.
The passengers expressed their gratitude to the Ladakh Police for their timely assistance and swift response during the difficult weather conditions.Authorities have advised travelers to remain cautious and follow official advisories while traveling on high-altitude routes, especially during periods of heavy snowfall and adverse weather.l
