DISTRICT POLICE KARGIL (LADAKH)Traffic Plan/Advisory for 16th April 2026
1️⃣ *Kargil Srinagar (SSG)Road(Green)*
Subject to fair weather and road clearance,post green signal from BRO,*LMV’S followed by HMVs(upto six tyers)with Anti-skid chain shall be allowed from *Minamarg towards Sonamarg* vehicles shall be allowed from TCP Minamarg at 0830hrs to 1030hrs. After cut off timing no vehicle shall be allowed from Minamarg TCP due to avalanche threat.
2️⃣ *Kargil -Zanskar (Penzila) (Green)* Subject to fair weather and good road condition two way traffic shall be allowed with Anti-skid chain.
Timing *0800hrs to 1200hrs* after that no vehicle shall be allowed.
3️⃣*Kargil-Leh*
*Road (Green)*
4️⃣*Padum Darcha -Shinkula* *Road*(*Green*) Tomorrow subject to fair weather *LMVs withAnti-skid chain(only 4×4 vehicles)* shall be allowed from *Kargyak towards Darcha* timing 0800hrs to 1200hrs after that no vehicle shall be allowed.
5️⃣ *Nimoo – padum (NPD) Road* *(Green)* Open only Sunday and Wednesday. Anti skid chain is mandatory for all vehicles.
