Hamida Banoo from Kargil
Received the Prestigious Fulbright-Nehru Fellowship 2026 for Doctoral Research.

Hamida Banoo from Kargil on being awarded the prestigious Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship (2026-27).
She completed her Bachelor’s degree from Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil and her Master’s degree from the Department of Botany, University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABl), Punjab, India.
This remarkable achievement reflects her dedication, academic excellence, and strong commitment to research.
