Kargil | March 23, 2026The Office of the Chief Education Officer, Kargil, under the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, has issued an official order regarding the transfer and posting of Masters, Teachers, and Lecturers across the district.The move has been undertaken in accordance with the LAHDC Kargil Teacher Transfer Policy to ensure efficient administration, optimal utilization of available human resources, and equitable distribution of staff among educational institutions.
The entire transfer process was carried out through the designated online transfer portal, involving proper scrutiny of applications, verification of service records, and evaluation by competent authorities to maintain transparency, fairness, and accuracy.
As per the order, officials who are due to retire on or before 30th June 2026 have been retained at their current place of posting. Additionally, transfer cases related to NCC ANOs and CTOs have been considered as per policy guidelines to ensure continuity of NCC activities in schools.Selections against DIET vacancies have been finalized by the District Transfer Committee with the approval of LAHDC Kargil.
Eligible officials have also been transferred based on their submitted preferences in accordance with the provisions of the transfer policy.All transferred officials are deemed to have been relieved from their present place of posting with immediate effect and are directed to report to their new place of posting within two (02) days.
