Kargil, April 20, 2026The Horticulture Department, Union Territory of Ladakh, has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible and experienced manufacturers, suppliers, and authorized agencies for the establishment of a “3 Ton Per Hour Capacity Dried Apricot Washing & Packaging Line” at the Model Orchard Cum Nursery (MOCN), Kurbathang, Kargil.
This initiative aims to strengthen post-harvest infrastructure, enhance value addition, and promote the apricot industry in Ladakh by improving processing efficiency and product quality.Interested firms and agencies are requested to submit their EOIs as per the detailed guidelines and submission procedure outlined in the official invitation within the prescribed timeline.
The department encourages reputed stakeholders to participate in this project, which is expected to boost local horticulture, generate employment opportunities, and support sustainable economic growth in the region.
