PRESS RELEASEThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a public notice regarding the refund process for NEET (UG)-2026 examination fees. According to the notification dated May 22, 2026, candidates can now submit their preferred bank account details through the NEET (UG)-2026 registration portal for processing of the fee refund.Candidates are required to log in using their registration credentials and access the refund portal link to provide their bank account information.
The NTA has also given candidates the option to upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque to ensure the accuracy of account details. Once submitted, the details will be treated as final and no further changes will be allowed.The facility for submission of bank account details will remain active from 22 May 2026 to 27 May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). Candidates have been advised not to initiate any chargeback process related to the NEET (UG)-2026 examination fee.As per Annexure-I released by the NTA, candidates will need to provide the following details:
Account Holder Name
IFSC Code
Account Number
Bank Name
Scanned copy of cancelled cheque (optional)
The NTA has urged all eligible candidates to complete the process within the given timeline to ensure smooth and timely refund processing.
