In Ladakh, a delegation of Veer Naris, Ex-Servicemen and children today visited the Kargil War Memorial to pay homage to the martyrs of the Kargil War.
The delegation, comprising 39 Veer Naris, 6 Ex-Servicemen and 53 children, visited under the aegis of Dras Warriors Brigade in coordination with the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha.
During the visit, the participants paid tributes to the fallen soldiers and witnessed exhibits showcasing the courage, valour and sacrifices of the Indian Army during the Kargil War.
An interaction session was also held, where attendees, especially children, were inspired by stories of bravery and encouraged to uphold the values of patriotism, discipline and national service.
The participants appreciated the initiative of the Indian Army and Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha for fostering national pride and preserving the legacy of the bravehearts.
