9 Domestic LPG Cylinders Seized in Surprise Market Inspection in Drass
Drass, April 03, 2026: As per the directions of Additional District Magistrare Kargil, a surprise Market checking against the use of domestic LPG cylinders for commercial activities was carried out today in Drass Market area.
The inspection was headed by Naib Tehsildar, Drass, Mohd Ibrahim Khan, and TSO Drass Niyaz Ahmad along with Havaldar Nazir Ahmed from Police station Drass and Tehsil Supply Officer Niyaz Ahmad.
During the checking, many tea stalls, hotels and restaurants were found violating the norms and around 9 domestic LPG cylinders were seized.The Market checking was conducted smoothly and successfully.
