CAT Circuit Bench Kargil Disposes 13 Cases, Strengthens Access to Justice in Ladakh

Kargil, April 17, 2025: The Central Administrative Tribunal Circuit Bench at Kargil has successfully concluded its sitting held from April 15 to April 17, 2026. The Bench comprised Hon’ble Members Justice Ritu Tagore (Judicial member) and Prashant Kumar (Administrative member).

During the course of the proceedings, a total of 76 matters were listed, out of which 13 cases were disposed of, as per the information provided by Devendra Tripathi, PA to the Judicial Member.

The sitting witnessed effective coordination, wherein Law Officers of various departments ensured compliance with the directions of the Hon’ble Bench and actively assisted Tahir Majid Shamsi, Deputy Solicitor General of India, and Faizan Ahmad Ganie, Central Government Counsel, in the conduct of proceedings.

The Circuit Bench sitting marks a significant step towards strengthening access to justice in the region and facilitating timely disposal of service matters.
