CEC Kargil Congratulates Students as District Records 79.08% Pass Percentage in CBSE Class X Results
Kargil, April 16, 2026: Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, has expressed congratulations on CBSE Class X Result 2025.
The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, is pleased to announce that students from Kargil District have recorded an overall pass percentage of 79.08% in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X Board Examinations 2025.
The Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, expressed his happiness and satisfaction over the announcement of these results and conveyed his optimism that the district will achieve even better outcomes in the coming years. While there remains scope for further improvement, this result marks an encouraging step forward, especially in light of the ongoing transition from the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education to the CBSE framework. Compared to previous years during this transition phase, the district has shown meaningful progress.
The Hon’ble CEC extended his warm congratulations and sincere appreciation to Ms. Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Administrative Secretary, Higher Education, School Education , UT Ladakh; Mr. Rakesh Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Kargil, and the District Administration Kargil; the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kargil; the Education Department Kargil; headmasters and teachers of all schools across the district; Village Education Committees; students of Kargil district; parents and guardians; and everyone associated with this achievement. He acknowledged their tireless efforts, dedication, and coordinated approach in strengthening the education system in the district. He further appreciated their continuous guidance, support, and commitment towards nurturing academic excellence and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
The Hon’ble CEC also extended special congratulations to all schools in Kargil district that achieved a 100% pass percentage in the CBSE Class X examinations. He commended the headmasters, teachers, VECs and students of these schools for their dedication and hard work, describing them as a source of inspiration for the entire district.
At the same time, the Hon’ble CEC encouraged those schools that could not achieve the desired results to take this as motivation to strive harder with renewed determination. He emphasized that hard work never goes unrewarded and that the present results themselves reflect the sincerity and collective efforts of everyone involved. With sustained commitment, even better results are expected in the years ahead.
