LSSSSB Conducts JSA, SA Exams Smoothly Across Leh and Kargil
Leh/Kargil, April 05, 2026: The Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board (LSSSSB) today successfully conducted the examinations for the posts of Junior Statistical Assistant (JSA) and Statistical Assistant (SA) at various examination centres across Leh and Kargil districts.
As informed by the Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board, for the post of Junior Statistical Assistant (Morning Session), a total of 3481 candidates were scheduled to appear in the examination, out of which 2865 candidates appeared, while 616 candidates remained absent.
Similarly, for the post of Statistical Assistant (Afternoon Session), a total of 1226 candidates were scheduled, out of which 1043 candidates appeared, while 183 candidates remained absent.
The examinations were conducted in a smooth, fair, and transparent manner, strictly following the prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Board.
All necessary arrangements were put in place to ensure the orderly, secure, and hassle-free conduct of the examinations across all designated centres in both districts.
There must be a re-exam for the JSA paper. Clearly there was an unexpected mistake done the LSSSSB. You have clearly mentioned in the syllabus the marks structure of various subjects. There was not a single question from the Mathematics portion which is huge upset the for the students of Mathematics background and on the other hand , there was 40 questions from the Economics section which was again a huge mistake from the LSSSSB. As per the syllabus 20 extra questions were asked from the Economics section.
