SCU Admission Outreach Programme Held at Government Degree College Kargil, Sankoo Campus
Kargil, April 23, 2026 — An admission outreach programme for postgraduate courses was successfully organized by Sindhu Central University of Ladakh at Government Degree College Kargil Sankoo Campus to create awareness among students regarding various academic opportunities for the 2026–27 session.
The visiting team from Sindhu Central University of Ladakh included distinguished faculty members Dr. Garima, Dr. Tashi, and Dr. Vysalhi, who interacted with students and provided detailed information about postgraduate programmes such as M.Tech, M.Sc, and M.A courses offered by the university.
The programme commenced with a warm and vibrant traditional welcome, where guests were honored in Ladakhi style with Khatak (traditional ceremonial scarf), reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Ladakh.
The event was formally welcomed under the guidance of Nodal officer Dr. Saleem Ahmad, who highlighted the importance of higher education and encouraged students to take advantage of emerging academic opportunities at Sindhu Central University of Ladakh.
The programme was effectively anchored by Dr. Mustafa, who ensured the smooth conduct of the event and actively engaged both speakers and students throughout the session. The visiting faculty elaborated on admission procedures, eligibility criteria, scholarship opportunities, and career prospects associated with the courses.
