Kargil Police Intensifies Anti-Drug Drive, One Arrested with Contraband
Kargil Police has intensified its crackdown against drug-related activities in the district. During a late evening naka checking at Khangral, police intercepted a suspicious vehicle and recovered approximately 120 grams of ganja along with liquor from the possession of the accused.
Following the seizure, one individual was arrested on the spot. An FIR has been registered at Police Station Wakha under the provisions of the NDPS Act, and further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
Kargil Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order and urged the public to cooperate in the fight against drug abuse and illegal trafficking in the region.
