Kargil, April 06, 2026The Office of the Chief Education Officer, Kargil, under the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), has issued an official order regarding the posting of staff in upgraded High Schools under Samagra Shiksha.As per the approval of the Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Kargil, candidates shortlisted through the merit list have been engaged on a purely temporary basis for one academic session in various upgraded High Schools across the district.
The administration has clearly stated that:The engagement is temporary and does not guarantee regularization or permanent employment.
All selected candidates must undergo strict verification of original documents by the concerned authorities before joining.Any candidate found submitting fake or misleading documents will face immediate cancellation of engagement.Candidates are required to submit an affidavit confirming their eligibility, non-involvement in other employment, and acceptance of terms.
The concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and Heads of Institutions (HOIs) will ensure full compliance with the guidelines.This initiative aims to strengthen the teaching workforce in upgraded schools and improve the quality of education in the region.
